Transcribing Women in Print

This project transforms an interview into a printed publication. Focusing on the mutual exchange within the conversation, it takes the form of letters, emphasizing the hope that this publication will be cherished wherever it is encountered. The transcripts of the interviewer and interviewee are separated into two booklets. However, the typesetting is carefully designed so that, when placed side by side, the dialogue flows seamlessly, allowing the reader to easily follow the rhythm and interaction between both voices.

Texture Archive

In exhibitions, artworks are often displayed behind glass, making them untouchable. Yet, even without physical contact, the act of looking can evoke a rich sense of texture through imagination. Similarly, the photographs in this book each carry their own unique tactile qualities. While the textures cannot be physically felt, they can still be imagined. This project arranges a variety of texture-rich images throughout the book, accompanied by alt text focused on describing the tactile qualities. It creates a visual archive that invites the reader to explore texture through sight alone, expanding sensory perception beyond physical limitations.

10 Seconds, Different Time Perception

Time flows differently for everyone. Even the same 10 seconds can feel short to some and long to others. This project visualizes those differences in time perception.Using a circular stencil, reflecting the cyclical nature of time throughout history, 15 participants were asked to fill in the shape for what they personally felt was 10 seconds, without using a stopwatch. The resulting patterns varied in density and form.These differences reveal how subjective our experience of time truly is. The outcomes were scanned and visualized to highlight the diversity in how each person perceives time.

A Record of Friendship

This project is a combination of research and documentation. It explores how two timelines can exist in different environments and how two distinct experiences can be brought together into a single outcome.

A central question is how friendship can form and be maintained across two continents and cultures. The project examines how two separate flows of time can coexist and sometimes interweave.

Instead of using images directly, this publication presents visuals shared between the two people in a new form. It is constructed entirely from numerical data derived from those images. This approach offers a new visual language that expresses connection across distance.
